A live-action children’s screen adaptation of the story of the fateful gift presented by the wily Odysseus to the unsuspecting Trojan army. From the »Crayola Kids Adventures« series, which presents background information about the author and context of each story.
Children’s drama adapted for younger audiences from Homer’s legendary tale of Greek my-thology, which takes place in ancient Greece some 3,000 years ago. The special is hosted by two life-size animatronic characters, Literacy Lion and his wisecracking friend Toucan, who introduce the special and provide information on the tale and its author Homer. In the special, 11-year-old warrior Odysseus leads his army of Greek soldiers in a battle against Troy after the Trojans capture Helen, the beautiful 11-year-old Queen of Sparta.
