Sinopsis:
Leon (16) is hiding in the garden of a chic mansion in a wealthy neighbourhood – a world in which he is a foreigner. In the right moment, he manages to pry open the back door and break into one of the large houses, without being noticed by the housekeeper working there. He sneaks up into the first floor without making a sound and heads straight for the nursery, where he takes a sleeping boy from its crib, leaving nothing but a handwritten note behind. But appearances are deceptive – and Leon has something entirely different in mind than it first seems ...
»Child‘s Play« tells the story of 16-year-old Leon, who became a father at 13. Overwhelmed by the situation, Leon‘s girlfriend decided to give the child up for adoption back then. Ever since, the now 3-year-old Max has been growing up with his adoptive parents – while Leon still feels so strongly for his son that he decides to take desperate measures to be able spent time with him: He breaks into the mansion of Max‘ adoptive parents and kidnaps his own son. During the course of the day, Leon has to admit to himself, though, that he is not yet ready to take full responsibility for his child – because at heart, he is still a child himself ...
