Description du film :
David wants to be a rich comic-book artist instead of working at his family’s Chinese restaurant. His grandfather gives him a box he says is symbolic, and when David opens it he sees it contains fortune cookies. He’s ready to sell them, but his sister Theresa won’t let him. When he reads a fortune he drops, David doesn’t understand it – but he’s even more confused when he’s offered a limo ride, and when his family’s restaurant is now an expensive one. His parents and now-rebellious sister, planning to sell her late grandfather’s fortune bookies to run away from her distant parents with a wild boyfriend, don’t know him, and he’s told he’s a famous graphic-novel artist. On top of everything else, he seems to be pursued by a black-clad warrior.
