Υπόθεση:
Chile, 1973. Gonzalo Infante and Pedro Machuca are two 11-year-old boys from Santiago. Gonzalo’s family lives in a wealthy neighborhood, while Pedro’s home is in a recently created, illegal shantytown just a few blocks away. There’s a huge invisible wall dividing these two separate worlds, a wall that some people, infected with the revolutionary fervour of the times, want to break down. Their unlikely friendship is full of discoveries and surprises. Von einer Verliebtheit in Silvana kann wohl keine Rede sein. Die verarscht, verführt und benutzt beide Jungs. Das Küssen ging von ihr aus. Gonzalo ist verwirrt und macht mit, weil er von ihr nicht weiter so verspottet werden will.
